Bbc I player app

Is anyone having trouble when down loading bbc player we choose programme and all it does is blank screen apart from the red circle in middle sometimes it eventually loads most times nothing have turned every thing off still nothing all other apps on sky glass perfect

If you have a smart tv, or an external device, then use the iplayer app on there.

Yes nightmare to load across Glass & Pucks just circle of doom. I left the Glass running took about 5 minutes but did eventually load Half Man in UHD and it played fine.

I noticed that going into iplayer and selecting to watch from there rather than a Sky tile was much quicker but not right. Something is up 🤔

Working as slick as normal on Apple TV.

Thanks for reply I did ask sky but they said no problem there end and had no notification from bbc once is starts got to resist stopping or it goes back to beginning of program and have to wait for it to wake up again so annoying

Yes seems to be a problem, there is another thread on this issue. No solution yet!

I'm having issues with bbc iPlayer , itv x and 5 on demand.

We've had this problem with IPlayer + the ad skipping issues mentioned on other threads with ITVX, Channel4 & My5.

I notice this is all the old terrestrial channels, we have no issues with AppleTV+, Disney+, Netflix or PrimeTV. Is this some sort of compatibility issue with old and new technologies clashing?

I'd like some sort of definitive answer for all of them, whether related or not.

SkyGlass 65" gen1 + 2 x pucks for whole home use & Sky Fibre500 broadband.

Other than iPlayer about 2 days ago taking forever to load I can't report any issues with domestic or other apps out of the norm. 

iPlayer was an issue but now works fine.

itvx I have premium so wasn't caught up in the latest issue.

4 I have noticed broadcast programs taking 3-4 days before landing in CW rail but they are available on the 4 app so there is a sync issue between Sky & 4.

5 app is just generally poor and nearly always has been, it's dire on Apple too and suspect it is 5 rather than Sky. 

Whilst at it Prime is also shocking in so many ways.

I have issues alot with other apps but eventually get there tonight I just can't get on I player , not good service

Im having issued sky q box. Bbci player, slow to load. Stutters through the menu. Odd thing is if I manage to run a tv programme it streams ok. 

Menu loading , using is the issue. All ok on the tv app , but not via sky
