Auto-standby and Netflix

Sky Glass went into auto-standby without notice whilst watching Netflix.

Anybody else experienced this?

@rr205521 If there had been inactivity on your Glass TV it will automatically go into standby after a few hours.  A notice normally appears at the top of the screen telling you it is about to do so and tells you to simply pick up the remote.

It is an ECO measure mandated by the EU, see HERE

Re: Auto-standby and Netflix

@Fothergill1  that's my point.

 I don't appear to be receiving the notice whilst using the Netflix APP and it just switched itself off.

Just wondering if anybody else has the same issue?

@rr205521  You are probably more observant that me but I have found I quite often miss the message and I get told off by my wife who did spot it but didn't have the remote 🤣.  Mind you I do think it remains on screen a little longer than it used to.  Let's see if anyone else is having this  issue.

The message certainly doesn't appear for long, i think no more than a minute warning if i remember correctly.
