Al Jazeera

What's the real reason Al Jazeera is missing from the tv listing on glass?

@james+milligan  Thats a question you need ton ask the channel itself, they are on youtube though.  Or if your Smart TV supports FAST channels may be on there.

Well Sky won't provide an answer.

 

The Sky streaming platform is a closed platform, unlike the satellite platform, which means that a carriage deal needs to be agreed between the broadcaster and Sky which would cover a range a range things like technical requirements of the stream along with financial arrangements for the channel to be carried.

I want to know also.  It is one of the best balanced objective news channels with excellent documentaries.   Much better than BBC news.

I guess they don't want people to watch it.

I want to know also.  Aljazeera  is one of the best balanced and objective news channels with excellent documentaries.   Much better than BBC news which I stopped watching because of finding them biased.

I guess they don't want people to watch Aljazeera?

The Al Jazeera live stream is available through the YouTube app on Glass/Stream 

 

No-one here knows why it's not in the EPG, but if there's a conspiracy then it's a very ineffective one...
