Re: error 1414
I have seen some posts from last year where they had the same problem. SKY solved it after one day. They probably messed it up again

Re: error 1414
@Erik12345 Try rebooting your Router. The error code apparently indicates that your system thinks you are trying to watch a programme outside of its permitted territory.

Re: error 1414
Hi @Fothergill1, thanks for your message. Yes, I know and I restarted the router. I am using Starlink which is linked to a different country I think anyway. But it was working till today without any issue for a long time.

Re: error 1414
@Erik12345 Hopefully someone with more knowledge of this issue will see your post and provide some input. If not maybe give Sky a call to see if they have useful troubleshooting suggestions.
Good luck 🤞

Re: error 1414
@Erik12345 if on another device (phone or tablet) that is connected to your wifi, browse to https://www.iplocation.net/ and see what it returns as your IP Location.

Re: error 1414
Hi @MarkGoldsmith , some of the Geolocation providers show the correct location and some not.

So that likely explains the issue I would think. If the Sky device is detecting an IP outside the UK then I'd expect it to throw that type of error, as the service will only work for UK residences within the UK.
Soem ISPs do assignsIP addresses that originate outside the UK at times, for which the usual fix is to reboot your router and hope you get assigned a UK IP.

Re: error 1414
The geo IP location does not normally play a role.
Today it works again without me changing anything (same IP and same location). I suspect that something has changed and the database needed some time to update.
