bluetooth pairing

In the past, I have paired my AirPods Max with my Sky Glass, and it worked fine. Until recently I was having problems so I clicked forget device, but ever since then I haven't been able to re-pair them to the TV but other devices have been connecting fine. To try and fix this I have factory reset my AirPods Max which did not work, I have also obviously tried restarting the TV unplugging it, and plugging it back in which also didn't work. One thing I have noticed is when I first turn the TV on my AirPods Max light up green as if they have connected automatically but the TV doesn't seem to do the same. I would like to avoid a factory restart for the TV but will if necessary.

Re: bluetooth pairing

Just got my daughter sky glass for her birthday. She likes to watch tv on a morning and to save waking us up she uses her AirPods. Her AirPods won't connect to her new tv. It's not the AirPods because mine won't connect either. They both work fine on the sky glass in the living room.  It's invisibly a software issue with Bluetooth because her remote would not connect properly for about 20 minutes but getting through to speak to someone is impossible.

It may be that your Airpods are paired to the Glass TV in the living room and you need to unpair them from it before trying to connect to the TV in your daughter's room.

It's normal for Bluetooth headphones to only allow pairing to one device at a time and they will usually automatically try to connect to the last device they were paired to.

Re: bluetooth pairing

We also did this. They connect for a short amount of time the. It's crackling and not good quality then they won't connect at all.

Not sure what else to suggest then I'm afraid. It sounds like the Bluetooth transmitter and receiver inside the Glass TV isn't functioning correctly or is getting interference from some other device.

You'll probably need to persevere with contacting Sky and run through some troubleshooting directly with them.
