Want sky but need a satellite

I have a sky glass tv but don't subscribe to sky at the moment. My internet is appalling where I live so a streaming service is not an option.
my question is, will sky still come and install a satellite on my property? If so how can I get them to do this without calling and being hard sold to?

You can still order Sky Q, the TV service received via satellite. If you've had Sky Glass though it may be tricky to order Sky Q on the Sky website so you'll need to call to order.
Work out which package you want beforehand and keep saying no to anything they try to upsell.

You can order Sky Q online,  by building your package here.

https://www.sky.com/tv/sky-q?msockid=06e35c0c3e9c6f5001a94a993f526ee6

As you no longer have a Sky Glass or Sky Stream subscription, you should not have any issues ordering online.

You could also use the live assistant at the top right of the Sky help page here;

A satellite dish rather than the orbiting component: those are rather more expensive and have a lead time of several years to manufacture.
