Unable to use sky glass

My sky glass is showing "sorry, because of a technical issue, you're currently experiencing a limited service. Please be assured that we're working hard to fix the problem" it doesn't let me press home, settings or anything it just constantly brings be back to this page saying the above. I have switched the mains off too but I can't go on any screen except the above msg.

This message normally comes up when the wifi connection or Ethernet is having problems.

Might be worth rebooting your broadband router and then restarting the Sky Glass and pucks.

I've done all the above and all the troubleshooting after being on call to them for over an hour on Christmas morning. 

Internet working fine, they've said my Glass is faulty. And were meant to send a replacement today however drivers put it down as customer not in called them up as soon as I received that email within 5 mins of it and they said they can't do anything now except deliver the new one on Monday.

If you have nothing to lose you could try a master reset as below 

 

1. Turn the TV off at the plug.
2. Press the power/standby button on the side of the TV and keeping pressing it down.
3. keep hold of  the power button and turn the plug back on.
4. Keeping holding the the power button down until it turns amber and then it should turn green. Then you can let go. 
5. The TV is reset, you'll have to connect to Wi-Fi set up the remotes and then you'll get an activation code. 
6. log into the sky activate site and enter the code and that's it.

7. you will also need to relogin to all your apps as well.
