Unable to activate Disneyplus on sky glass tv

I have literally spent three hours trying to activate Disney plus on my Sky Glass TV. I have a subscription and have tried numerous times using both methods such as QR code and link to Disney plus activation page and nothing happens other than a completely blank screen. I am close to laughing the thing into a skip as not satisfied one bit with it. Any ideas with regards the Disney plus as am paying for it and getting naff all.

You could try an app refresh found in the settings - this can take a fair few hours to complete in the background 

im presuming you have pulled the plug for a few minutes?
