In the short amount of time I have had today, all I can confirm is that the problem is the same.
I checked my box had updated to R21 and it had, I then turned off the box using my remote and left it about an hour.
I turned on the box using the remote and checked Game of Thrones, and it indicated HD.
As before, I then went to the Settings menu, opened it, touched nothing and came out.
Checked Game of Thrones again, and it was indicating UHD.
When you say have I rebooted my Box, may I ask what you mean by that, do you mean remove the power from the box?
If you do, then I haven't done that, but will try.
However, if a consumer product needs a physical restart in order for a firmware update to take effect I would expect the firmware update to trigger one....
Surely Sky can't expect thousands of consumers to start removing power from there Stream Boxes in order to kick an update into operation?

Thanks again for the frequent updates, sorry this recent update hasn't sorted this for you but it does seem you have found an odd bug. We need some more examples of this before we can continue so I've moved your comments back out of that other thread so other users can find it easier 🙂

Set your default streaming format to UHD.
UHD content will now show up as UHD.
If you are connected to an HDR compatible TV it will show up as UHD HDR.

I have been having this problem since February this year. I have called Sky so much times. They finally sent me a new puck and it's still persists , so it's nothing to do with my TV ,the cable ,it's positioning, its obviously a bug in the system, and it is still there. I received my puck yesterday in the hopes of everything would be okay, but every day I turn it on, I have to hover over the format or resolution setting without pressing anything and everything revertes back to ultra HD HDR format. I'm actually glad I found this post because I thought it was only happening to me, Sky always say they've never heard of it before . It must be just me or the box blah blah blah rubbish.

This bug really bugs me too.
I've added Breeders to my playlist and watched the first episode in UHD HDR but if I decide to watch the next episode the following day and select it from my Continue Watching rail, it only plays the UHD version - it won't default to UHD HDR.
The UI of Sky Stream really is diabolical.

Exactly the same for me . It's extremely annoying now , someone said change the format setting to UHD, but it still doesn't pick up HDR content like Auto dose . so I still have go into the settings just to get everything back to uhd hdr .
