I've looked around everywhere for an answer and can't find anything about it. I bought a sky glass yesterday, and I didn't go for the uhd package just because I didn't think it was worth it.
Basically, do you need the UHD package to enable HDR? Everywhere I look for answers always talk about them as if they're the same but they're different things.
Also, it says buy the UHD package to enable it on sky services, but doesn't say anything about the other things you can use the tv for. I know that for netflix you need to buy the highest tier to enable it, but do you need to buy the package for UHD to be enabled on a ps5?
Thank you 😊

@PhenyxXanathar The UHD/HDR/Atnos add-on is only needed if you want to watch Sky content in UHD/HDR & Atmos eg Sky Atlantic), Sky Movies or SKy Sport in UHD, HDR and Atmos.
If you have pay for the appropriate tier of Netflix, Netflix will play in 4K & HDR/Dolby Atmos without you needing to pay for Sky's UHD & Atmos add-on. Same for Disney_, Prime, Apple TV_ etc. And your PS5 should play in 4K & HDR just fine if you connect it to your Sky Glass. You do not need Sky's UHD & Atmos add on in order for Netflix to play in 4K UHD & HDR, likewise for your PS5.
So you can have Sky in just HD, Netflix in 4K/Dolby Vision/HDR/Atmos and your PS5 in 4K HDR if you want.
Sky do tie UHD & HDR together, as do most other streaming services, although they are techncally two different things.

Thank you so much!!
It was really confusing me but this clears it up perfectly. I even tried to ask a sky rep on live chat to ask the ps5 thing and they said I needed the package, but that must of been either ignorance or trying to upsell me for no reason 😊
