Re: Tv not working

Parents had sky glass fitted in the lounge but pre this they also had the tv in the kitchen linked so they could watch sky tb in the kitchen. This is now not happening.

@MandyBlair

So they'll no longer have Sky Q (where you've posted). I'll move your posts to the Sky Glass board where you're likely to get some advice from customers with Glass.

@MandyBlair Did you parents also order a stream puck for the 2nd TV? if not and without a box they won;t be able to view Sky TV on the 2nd set.

As per @Daniel0210  if they had Sky Q they would have had a Q mini which will no longer work, if they had Sky+HD it's possible they fed the 2nd set using the RF output from the Sky+HD box

This can't work with Sky Glass or Sky Stream as for any additoonal non Glass TV they would need a stream puck and Whole home sub.

@MandyBlair  If you answer the questions the community can help.

Unless you are the account holder Sky wont speak to you about someone elses account.

I'm not sure what you expect Sky to do as already explained above Sky Glass is a different setup then Sky Q or Sky+HD.

@MandyBlair

As stated by @GD1 if your parents had a Sky Q mini box attached to the TV in the kitchen they would have had to have returned that along with the main Sky Q box when they changed to Glass.

To watch Sky content on that TV they will need to contact Sky and arrange

  • a whole home monthly subscription and
  • another puck to use with that TV

@MandyBlair  Best option is to confirm the order on the confirmation email, if it specifies a puck and a whole home subscription then they would need to speak to Sky.
