I have sky glass 55
i have had problems for months and dealt with it by resetting the tv
This time I went to turn the tv on in the morning, no response as sometimes happens so I reset the tv.
my remote wouldn't pair, I read loads of forum posts from here and despite backlight on remote showing I
ordered sky Q voice remote 125 from local retailer as I saw these worked with glass.
neither original remote or new remote will pair and I know the new one works as I have paired it to my sisters glass to test.
sky hassling me about paying bill via a no reply email, if I call sky it just puts me through to a payment line. I understand this is a consumer forum not sky themselves but I AM NOT paying for something that DOES NOT WORK.
can anyone help please

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Lilshady Cancelling a direct debit simply because you're having issues isn't the right way to go about this, Sky won't speak to you until you pay any outstanding balance and setup a new direct debit.
As you've not found you can't get through to them due to your own incorrect actions.

The one way to guarantee a Sky product won't work is to stop paying for it

@Lilshady why did you buy a Sky Q remote how much did it cost?
Did you ever report your reset issues to Sky?
Using a Sky Q remote is just a workaround if a Glass or Puck fails while you wait for replacement remote to be suppled by Sky🤔
@Lilshady your only way forward is ... bight the bullet ... pay your bill and set up a new payment method ... you'll then be able to report your reset issues to Sky🙁

I've never known of a TV remote suffer the issues as the ones with Glass and that's coming from someone who has worked in TV manufacturing for decades.
But! Cancelling DD is no solution as that will just take you down a whole new path of non payments and get you nowhere.......
Your best and only option is to bring your account up to date and negotiate with Sky to resolve your issues or removal from your contract.
Good luck.
