I have bought a new dance mat (quite an expensive one) and it doesn't seem to want to work on any of the sky glass hdmi ports. It just keeps clicking and 'tries' to play the music but can't seem to. I have since tried this dance mat on other TVs and it works perfectly fine. Is this something that can be changed/fixed in settings or through sky. Or I'm guessing that it's just not supported by the sky glass? I have tried changing some audio/hdmi settings but to no avail? I'm not really sure what is different from a fire stick to a dance mat as they both use hdmi and the fire stick works fine. (Not overly technical but just seems that if it's through one cable why wouldn't it work 🤷♀️)

A Firestick and a dance mat are completely different devices. A Firestick is a streaming device which outputs audio and video from various apps - something that is normal for HDMI ports to receive. A dance mat is a toy which wouldn't normally output video and audio and is more likely to have touch sensitive pads which are connected to some other video device which is showing a dance for a user to follow along with.
What is the make/model of the dance mat? It may be that you need to change some kind of video output setting for it to be compatible with Sky Glass or use a different HDMI cable.

A quick look online would suggest many do so: that's a simple thing to achieve with a cheap SoC.

Possibly using HDMI #3 with the 'Compatibility' option in 'Settings' toggled on is worth a try.
