Tv doesn’t accept eathernet able even tho it’s connected?

Does any 1 no y my tv has worked for months on eathernet cable but in the last week it wont accept its got a eathernet cable connection even tho 1 is connected??

Have you checked the Ethernet cable hasn't been dislodged from your router/switch and also the cable hasn't been kinked or damaged over time. Try a new cable in the first instance so you can rule it out as the failure point.
