Total lock required for Sky glass
I need to be able to totally lock Sky glass to control my kids tv screen time! Does anyone know how to do this? Ratings based locks and app locks are not sufficent.

Re: Total lock required for Sky glass
It's not possible. The only suggestion would be to get a smart plug and control the power, but would only work if socket not easily accessible.

Re: Total lock required for Sky glass
There's no function in the operating system or GUI for that. Sky Glass is really not ideal for such limitations, given the built-in voice control.

Re: Total lock required for Sky glass
The only possible solution, depending on your broadband supplier, might be to investigate some kind of network availability timer whereby the broadband connection to your Glass TV is shut off at specific times of the day. Without a network connection (or backup aerial) Glass becomes a big dumb monitor.
Some routers have this kind of capability built in to their software. You would access the control panel via a web browser to set it up, but you'd need to seek specific help based on your ISP and router.
