Afternoon all..
So had Sky Glass for 3 months now and yes it's a tricky beast sometimes but overall we're happy with it.
Question is this Hello Sky malarkey, it keeps flashing the TV screen when it's turned off and sometimes turns on the TV itself, and I've got the Sky experience settings turned off.
Would it be missed if I turned it off and would it bypass this bug? Who knows. I'm guessing I could still speak into the remote..
Or should I stick with it as is, maybe there's a fix on the way?
Many thanks

Yes, the Voice remote still works. We've had the television microphone switched off for the past year.

If you don't want it turn off the microphone button on the bottom right of your Glass TV.
I like Sky Glass as well despite its flaws. I turned off everything in the "Start up & Standby" menu except for the "Network standby mode" which I have in the on position. None of the options in the menu really necessary and turning them all off solved many of the issues I initially experienced with Glass.

I've turned it off.
1st I turned off the TV mic in privacy settings and it earned me I need to use the remote for voice control.
Then I went into the other settings but noticed overnight power saving and auto motion turn off if movement is detected within an hour. Both on, should they be off?

@Red+Silence I have them both turned off. It's worth a try as you can always turn them back on again if it doesn't help.
The only option I have ON in the whole menu is the "Network standby mode" as being ON stops the network disconnecting overnight.

You really wouldn't see any power saving from the TV over night not even if you unplug it from the mains you would only really see anything over a year due to such little power it uses just like a TV on standby.
