I was contacted twice by sky to speak with me about offers like insurance. Both representatives have said I had access to TNT sports through discovery plus. I only recently found out there is a whole process to access it which I carried out around 36 hours ago (I saw another post saying you had to wait 24 hours for the activation) but I still can't get access to TNT sports without a separate subscription

Sky customers have access to the basic discovery+ app and content as part of their base entertainment subscription, but to access TNT Sports via the TV Guide or the discovery+ app requires a TNT Sport subscription.
Have you added a TNT Sports subscription to your account? You would see it active in My Sky and it should be possible to watch the channels in the TV Guide if you have.
If not, you have likely activated your basic discovery+ subscription that is included, but cannot access TNT Sports in the TV Guide or app because you do not have the correct subscription. TNT Sports is between £25 - £30 per month for most people, depending on offers.
