@Jason+Golding wrote:@stereohaven I don't read it as that - where does it say that it only applies to TNT customers who access TNT sport through sky?
Where does it say everyone who has a premium subscription, regardless of where they bought it, will be able to watch TNT Sports through it?
@Jason+Golding wrote:If you think about is rationally - how will this technically be possible? The Discovery plus app currently works for me with my log in through EE.
Easy, they are already doing it.
I have 2 subscriptions on my Discovery+ account currently, the free version provided by Sky and the premium version via BT.
If I log into any non Sky device, I can see TNT Sports and a full TV Guide. On a Sky device I can only see the basic version.
@Jason+Golding wrote:Look at the Disney plus app as another example - it works whether you subscribe through sky or not, as does every other app, why are you so adimnet that it will be different for TNT Sports within Discovery plus on Sky ?
2 reasons:
Guess we will find out eventually, if you are right, I'll buy you a beer 🍻

This my prediction ( what do I know !)
1.The Discovery Plus application will be upgraded on Sky Glass, Stream and Q by the end of this month, so that the app allows access to all customers that have a Discovery Plus premium subscription whether this is directly through Sky, Discovery plus, EE or BT
2. As it stands all Sky customers have access to Discovery plus - customers who subscribe to TNT sports through sky will be upgraded to a Discovery plus premium subscription. Giving them the advantage of using some of the extra functions on the Disovery plus app (TNT highlights etc) it may also mean that if a sky subscriber subscribed to TNT sports through sky but doesn't have a UHD add on they will be able to view TNT Sport ultimate through the Discovery plus app on sky. Offering a potential saving

@stereohavenlets have a 🍺 anyway lol!

@stereohaven @You make a good point about Sky losing revenue / but they know they people will do this anyway. I am not going to pay £27 for TNT Sports through Sky when I get it included within my EE contract. So I simply use the discovery plus app on my LG tv.

Yes this, I have been checking that webpage every day since early August when the football season started, as I thought they would be aiming for it to be ready for then. Hopefully not much longer

Discovery plus are now telling me that TNT sports is available on the app. Has anyone tried - it's still not on mine

Not on mine either

Can anyone check who subscribed to TNT sports through sky please

I have just tried the Discovery+ app on my Sky Stream box and I can confirm that TNT Sports is still not available on it. I then went out of th app and refreshed the apps, making sure everything was up to date and tried the Disney+ app again but nothing
TNT Sports is definitely not available in the Disney+ app yet unfortunately

Latest update from discovery plus. It's a shame that Sky staff can't comment on the situation. But.,,. Not looking good for Discovery plus (premium subscribers) who don't subscribe through sky.
Hi xxxxx, thanks for the additional details. I have had a look and I see your discovery+ account is active with BT offer. Like I mentioned before, If you have TNT Sports with your Sky package in the UK, you get access to the TNT Sports through discovery+ app on Sky devices. Alternatively, you can stream TNT Sports on all other discovery+ supported devices. I hope this helps! Kid regards, Salbin.

If I am, console yourself with how much less you are paying for access to it, even if you can't watch everything all on one device! 🤣
Leaves more money for beer... 🍻
