Sudden Sky glass issues

Have had the TV about 14 months now, been pretty good up until the last few weeks.

Suddenly having lots of problems, particularly cannot switch the TV on at all sometimes the red light is there but won't do anything. (Batteries ok) Also getting the message "please wait" with the circle going around then freezes. Problems with rewind, etc etc.

Have done the usual reboots.

Will contact Sky later but just looking for advice in the meantime. 👍

Hi @slaters

There was an issue with remote control firmware. See this thread for some things to try: https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Sky-Stream/Sky-Stream-Remote-won-t-turn-on-any-of-my-pucks/m-p/4550247.

The other thing to try is to go into settings > startup and standby > turn network standby mode ON and overnight power saving OFF.

In terms of the loading, has anything changed with your WiFi / connection recently? I.e. has it changed channels in response to congestion etc. if connected by ethernet check that WiFi hasn't turned itself on in network settings.

Of course it could be a software related issue, but not seen a flood of posts.
