Had this issue a while ago but it cleared up, its now resurfaced. The Sky Glass Channel 4 player will continue to play the sound after the app is closed. It is noticeable when I am part way through a program. I pause it and then return to the playlist and turn the TV off. When I turn the TV back on there is a black screen but the Ch 4 player is 'continuing' in sound only. Sometimes I get the normal Glass opening page but with the sound underneath. If I re-select the Ch4 program then the screen alternates between black and the real picture then the sound stops and reverts back to sync in with the picture which takes up from where I left it. This can happen even if the TV has been in stand by for over an hour. I can't see any other similar posts, but I wonder if anyone else has experienced it??

It's always best to exit out of the apps on Stream using the back button, rather than straight to the main menu. This avoids the type of issues you're experiencing.

I should have elaborated a bit more. I pause the player, then use the back button which takes me out of the player & eventually to the Glass main page. Then I turn the tv off.
Although I have tried turning it straight off . The result is always the same.

we are having the same problem, although we get it after watching a programme on Paramount+. This has only occured since the last update.
Now, after watching a programme on Paramount+, we do a restart via the settings menu then the TV continues as normal until the next time.

unfortunately it doesn't seem to affect a huge amount of users and some fellow posters tried to recreate it on their sets and couldn't !
