Sonos Playbar connection to Glass

Hi All. 

I'm sure I have seen a thread to this effect but can't seem to track down any answers.

I have just had my Sky Glass delivered and want to connect my Sonos Playbar to it.  I have an audio extractor and seem to be getting an optical signal from this but I have no sound coming from the Playbar itself.

I've been through the Sonos App to set up TV but it is saying there is no signal (even though I can see the optical signal).  Any ideas or recommendations would be very helpful.

I have a Sonos Beam as opposed to a Playbar, but hopefully it will work the same.

I've connected, via HDMI, to the HDMI ARC socket, and it works a treat.

The playbar doesn't support HDMI😉
