That would be why your sky glass keeps freezing. Maybe worth troubleshooting your internet connection with sky customer services

60mps should still be enough. Sky glass is appalling as is the customer service. Like so many others I would not recommend. This is after multiple engineer visits.

My glass unit never freezes ..... I would hazard a guess that on top of the slowdown you are getting brief internet dropouts which is affecting your glass tv

Re: Sky tv doesn’t work
You'd expect the engineers to have identified and resolved? This is my second unit. I purchased fibre as this was happening on a copper connection. Still not resolved.

The network drops would be related to your home network not the Glass Tv. There are numerous things that will cause interference with people WiFi networks that are out of the control of the ISPs. The best most ISPs would offer is an higher tier booster type package where they may provider WiFi extenders or a better router. Typically the standard routers that come from an ISP are cheap and basic and there are many external factors that cause WiFi network interference.
Where is your router positions? Is it out in the open? Not on the floor? Away from radiators?
Have you tried connecting via Ethernet instead of WiFi ( or indeed vice versa if you can currently using Ethernet)?

Re: Sky tv doesn’t work
Is your router's sync speed varying?
If so it would be an issue for Openreach to resolve😉
Sky Stream needs a stable connection between router and internet ... for there to be a stable connection for Stream device to have a stable connection to the Sky Servers🤔

Re: Sky tv doesn’t work
A question you'd expect the so called engineers to resolve. The service and quality and lack of resolutions have been ongoing

Visits from Openreach or Sky?
Openreach personnel have nothing to do with Glass hardware.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2

Re: Sky tv doesn’t work
So the Sky engineer came to measure the distance from the router to the Sky Glass TV?
