Sky stream remote & Samsung The Frame (2024). Remote won’t change volume or turn TV off.

Help.  My remote won't turn off my Samsung frame (2024) tv.....sky don't seem to be able to help....they just tell me it should.

@Fattmattuk After you have setup the remote through connected devices to control the volume and on/off function of your new Samsung TV it requires a long press on the power button to turn off the TV.

I have a new 2023 model S90C Samsung and to turn it off with the Stream remote I simply press and hold the remote power button until the TV switches off which takes about 2-3 seconds.  The puck turns off at the same time.

Have you tried a long press of the standby button on the remote? Try some of the other Samsung codes - one of them will work.

The long press doesn't work (did with my old Samsung, but not with the new TV)

Yep.  Tried long press and tried all the different samsung codes. No luck

Oh dear. You'll need to stick to using the Samsung remote for the time being then, until such time as Samsung/Sky update their remote codes. 

It's perhaps due to it being a new 2024 model of TV. Samsung may have updated their remote codes and not passed the information on to Sky.
