Only a guess, but in most likelihood that page may contain the software version that most devices are on.
As Sky roll out software updates in batches to avoid all customers potentially experiencing unknown bugs, the number of devices that have the latest software version is only slowly increase. Its possible Sky have a percentage threshold, say like 51% or something like that that they use to determine what software version is put on that website. There isn't much point updating the website with the software version if only a minority of customers are actually egilible to have that software version.
