Sky remote slow or not working at all

My remote was working fine until recently. I have changed the batteries and we have to

reconnect it all the time. The tv feels like it is lagging behind also, leaving us undecided if it is the tv or the remote. It also looses WiFi a lot. We are on sky WiFi. Its starting to get really annoying.

I have 4 sky pucks but 1 of them keeps freezing if I change batteries in remote it's OK for a couple of weeks then stops working again
