Sky prices
Hi,
is there anyway that you can get a reduction in the monthly Sky bill. I am currently paying £130 for pretty much everything although that doesn't include Sky Glass Tv, Sky live camera or broadband.
People are saying I'm paying too much.
Any comments appreciated.
Thanks.

£130pm for just the streaming TV service sounds wildly excessive. Are you out of contract? Have your initial deals expired and you're now paying full price for every part of your subscription?
You can cancel UHD/Atmos and Ad-skipping for starters as they are on 31day rolling contracts and can normally be had for free by repeating the offers available on the MySky app.
Sky make most of their money from Sport subscriptions and they aren't discounted as much, but you could drop from Ultimate TV to Essential TV if you like - that could save another £10pm or so.
Sky Cinema is only really worthwhile if you make use of the Paramount+ subscription that comes with it, along with the free Vue Cinema tickets. It can often be discounted though.
You basically need to call Sky and negotiate. Work out what exactly you watch and what service they are available on. Cancel the ones you don't need. Sign up to a new 2 year contract and you'll get a cheaper deal, or alternatively, leave completely and switch to Sky's NOW streaming service on a different streaming device.

Re: Sky prices
Ask to speak to retentions they make the best deals and no need to say you want to leave.Just ask if there any deals at the moment and yes you might have to sign up to a two year contract.Sky Sports and TNT sports are the expensive subscriptions.Your not going to get a deal with TNT Sports.

Re: Sky prices
As mentioned in a post above, you will need to call Sky or take a visit to a Sky shop.
You may be able to get a new recontract deal if have a few months left on your current Sky TV contract.
If your Sky has gone up more recently, it maybe that some discounts have ended.
If you look at your MySky bill on your Sky Stream TV, just say MySky using your Sky Stream voice remote, it will show all your discounts, with end dates and previous bills will show which discounts ended.
It is not really for this community to discuss or compare individual Sky costs and deals, so as mentioned, have a look at your recent bills and give Sky a call or visit a Sky shop.
You can also use the Live assistant at the top of the page here;
Sky Stream with two pucks (former Sky Q and Sky+ customer).
Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Mobile unlimited data. Sky Protect smart tech kit tester.
