Hi - I'm not sure that is the case. I will check in the superuser forum to see if this is a new process

Hi @AnneF3

Is this a Gen 1 or Gen 2 set? Has it worked previously with out issue? Have you tried the steps outlined by Sky here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/remote-control-help-sky-glass

Some more information will help the community assist you.

Re: Sky glass

Thank you. I will try as you suggest.

Gen 2, has not been right since delivery. Tv had not been reset after testing at Sky HQ, arrived dead and I had to be taken through a reset by a very helpful Sky employee

Re: Sky glass

@AnneF3 You got a refurbished Gen Two? If you were meant to get a brand new set I'd be mad about this myself.

Re: Sky glass

After a week of a daily phoning and online chat, each time  lasting between 1&2 hours I have finally given up and have taken advantage of the cooling off period. It is going back to Sky. They have tried to fix the problems, without success and I don't have the time or energy to continue. A very honest lady admitted that a new tv (which is always a refurb if it is a replacement) will not fix the issues. I am not happy to pay the price of a new tv for a refurb, even if that did fix the problems which it apparently will not. We have unplugged everything, are back with Sky Q and await the couriers for a return.

Do remember to take some photos of the TV before the couriers collect it, just to prove the condition it was in when it left you.

There have been reports of couriers mis-handling returned Glass TVs so that they arrive damaged at the returns centre. Sky then refuse to refund customers or try to charge them a fee.
