Re: Sky glass to faulty out if warranty

Hi all I'm sending a letter to sky regarding my faulty sky tv from Which consumer rights Sky have 14 days in which to reply and dirt the issue out otherwise I'm going to the small claims court .

heres a draft should anybody wish to use it feel free to use and change to your personal details best of luck .

Dear Sir or Madam,
REFERENCE:l- Sky glass tv
I purchased a Sky glass tv from Sky. At the point of purchase I paid £1008.00 overs a 4 year period .
The sky glass tv is not working we bought it 3 years ago on a 4 year payment plan we are still paying for it and have a year to go we are also unable to use the sky glass tv package as its a streaming tv we are also still paying for a service we cannot use . The screen has gone white the pictures look like negatives ! as we bought it in a 4 year payment plan we would reasonably be be expecting the tv to last 4 years at least . Sky refuse to do anything except to say we can buy a new tv from them or offer us a sky puck at an additional cost to add to the money we already pay .
The Consumer Rights Act 2015 makes it an implied term of the contract I have with Sky that goods be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality.
As you are in breach of contract and I've owned the product between 6 months and 6 years, I am within my statutory rights to ask for it to be replaced.
I await confirmation that you will provide the remedy set out above within 14 days of the date of this letter.

please do not be fobbing me off!
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 it is the responsibility of Sky to put the situation right. Please do not tell me that Sky can't help as I'm out of warranty or blame the manufacturer.

Yours faithfully,
