Sky glass sound not working and out of warranty

Hi my sky glass sound has began to stop working and I have been informed I am out of warranty. Any help would be appreciated thanks

Not a lot you can do other than contact Sky's approved repair company:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-glass-tv-repairs 

You'll need to pay any costs for repair however. 

Sadly it's one of the downsides of Glass - the two year warranty. I'd only ever buy a TV from somewhere like John Lewis or Richer Sounds where 5 or 6 year warranties come free as standard.

If the failure point is the built-in speakers but there's still functioning HDMI then in theory (e)ARC from HDMI #2 to an external ARC or eARC capable AV receiver, soundbar or audio extractor could work.

Firestick sound muffled when plugged into hdmi

That could well still be a speaker or amplifier circuit problem though, not HDMI.
