anyone else experiencing darker blue screen on their sky glass

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Nyler+King When I had my Glass TV I had a 2-3 inch wide grey vertical line that suddenly appeared. I did a reboot of the TV and it resolved the issue and it never returned. Try a reboot and if it remains or comes back after a while contact Sky for some further troubleshooting.
To reboot simply switch off your Glass or Stream puck at the plug socket and wait for a minute before switching it on again. It will take about a minute to reboot.
Good luck 🤞

That could be a failed LED on the backlight array. This will affect screen uniformity.
Have a look on the YouTube app for a greyscale screen uniformity test. This will show up inconsistencies of the backlight better.
The type of panels used in Sky Glass are mass produced back-lit VA LCD type panels, the same as used in many cheaper and mid-range LCD TVs from other manufacturers. Quality can vary and uniformity issues can be caused by over-tightening of the screws during assembly.
If you are at all concerned about the quality of the image on your TV and you are within your warrantly period then you should contact Sky for further troubleshooting. If they deem it to be faulty they will replace it.

Yup I. Done all the checks with Sky and nothing changed. The line is still there and I've also got a black dot on the top. Sky seem to keep telling me it's my internet connection. But I've checked my connect with bt and they said it fine. I've rebooted the tv and nothing changes. I've been sent out 2 replacements. My first tv had it straight away and I got the 1st replacements the line came about a month of owning it. But when the current tv came it was already there. I'm wondering if it's me doing something or it's just their tvs aren't the best. But I'm worried after a while the picture will go and I'd spend all that money for nothing

Yup I've been through all the checks with Sky and they keep telling me it's my internet connection. But bt are telling me it's nothing to do with the internet. The fault is in the tv so sky sent me out a new one but the tv is the same. I said are you going to test and figure out why they said no. They making it my fault but this is a inconvenience for me to keep getting the tv replaced I don't gain anything by it. I've done all the check and reboots and checking my internet and nothing working

It's absolutely nothing to do with your broadband connection - it's a hardware quality issue.
That last picture looks like it's an overly tightened stand which is pushing the backlight array too far forwards. Try loosening the screws a little to see if that helps, otherwise I'm afraid there's little you can do other than get another replacement or argue that the quality is not sufficient for the price paid or not fit for purpose.

Thanks for replying would the stand cause the screen to go funny at the side rather than the middle? I'll call them and see what they said but on the tvs I've had it's always that left corner @Padam_Padam

Less likely to affect the sides like that. It looks more like a local dimming/backlight issue to me.
If it looks like that permanently then I'd complain again.
