Find out more@mikealanr and @Simonfty When I got my Glass TV 18 months ago I had all sorts of issues which I found annoying and I resolved all of them by going into the Start up & Standby menu and turning OFF everything except the Networked standby mode which I turned ON.
The TV will still turn off after a period of inactivity due to the ECO features but I think the onscreen message is a little more prominent and stays on screen for longer than it used to do but arguably still not long enough.
The ECO features are mandated by EU legislation.

Any Glass has eco settings as described here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-glass-tv-turning-on-off-glance-motion-technology#:~:text=Your%....
The message that appears on screen is very brief (and needs to be on screen longer). These settings can't be disabled as it's part of the "green credentials" Sky are trying to achieve.
However if the set is just going off without warning, you will need to speak to sky and ask for a replacement under warranty, we are fellow subscribers here.
