Sky glass gen 2

Can Anyone give me update on sky glass gen 2? Latest model.

From some reviews I got, the sky glass cannot be hung on wall because it's heavy. Is this true.

@Tgehis It can be hung on the wall. You can order the mount for it with the Glass (has to be when you order it as it can't be bought later). VESA wall mounts are also compatible with Glass Gen Two. You just need to make sure it can hold the weight of the TV and that the Rawl plugs etc can also handle it.

@Tgehis

The Gen 2 was launched three months ago: there's copious amounts of information online.

The side-by-side comparison from Sky shows around a 5Kg drop in weight from the first version.

The most significant difference in this context is that the Gen 1 included the fixed wall plate by default because it was also a component of the desktop stand, while a tilt and swivel bracket is an expensive optional extra on a Gen 2 purchase.

Not sure where you got this info from as it's false.  You can wall hang it, you can purchase the additional wall bracket from Sky at the time of purchase for £100
