5 app not playing on sky glass

5 app on Sky Glass won't play any programmes, neither will channel 5 programmes in playlist.  Screen just shows the waiting/loading circle.  I have refreshed the apps etc, but there's no change.  Any suggestions?

Have you tried turning the TV off at the wall for a few minutes? Sometimes that helps.

 

Is it just 5 or are other channels playing up too?

Hi Gavin, I tried that first, but it didn't help.  It seems to be just the 5 app, or channel 5 programmes in the playlist.

@Mary+McG Sorry it didn't help. Maybe it's just a temporary fault and it'll be resolved by the morning?

I was watching a few C5 programmes from playlist late last night and saw no issues.

Tried again this morning on some from playlist that play in Sky Stream and some that play in the 5 app.

 

An apps refresh can take up to 24 hours to be actioned.

 

Try doing a settings restart;

Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Glass TVor puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete

We have had issues with our sky glass today. When playing a programme on C5 on our playlist  there's a black screen with what looks like background data and the picture is in the top corner. 
It take a while but, after coming out and back into the programme 2/3 times it goes back to normal??

That's definitely not normal, if the tv is still in warranty then I would send it back @mrvivers
