Sky glass gen 2 initial start up

Sky glass gen 2 43inch possibly faulty out the box, can't get anything but this screen, tried holding the power button on power up but no joy. Any ideas? Was a bit skeptical on the condition as it looked like the box had been opened and re sealed with different tape.

Hi @Jacocooks 

 

We are fellow subscribers on the community. The only recommendation  would be to follow the recovery process. https://www.sky.com/help/articles/power-issue-help-sky-glass - which you say you have already tried, however it may be worth trying all steps in that article and trying recovery more than once. You have to ensure you are holding the button down, when you turn the power on and it can be tricky.

 

Failing this you will need to contact Sky to arrange a replacement under warranty.
