Sky glass and virgin still have issues?

I'm still having issues with sky glass dropping internet. Everything else is connected fine but glass works, drops out, works drops out! Wait for your program to load! I've reset everything multiple times and still have issues

@Tha+Daddy

Try changing the "Network standby mode" to ON.  This is found under Start up & standby menu. I had the same problem of network dropout until I made this change and this resolved the issue.

I also have everything else in the start up & standby turned off as they are just gimmicks and were causing a number of minor issues..

Re: Sky glass and virgin still have issues?

Hi, my network has standby mode on. It's a connection issue between virgin and sky glass. When I go on to my network, it connects, drops etc. I was watching a film last night, half way through watching, wait for your programme to load, then when it can't, goes back to the home screen! Watching live football, stops every couple of minutes, black screen, please wait for your programme to load. This sky glass is becoming a nightmare!!

Today, sky news on, now a blue screen, menu still comes up. What sort of viewing experience are sky trying to provide with this glass? Please sort it Sky!

@Tha+Daddy  If the issue is on VM's side then Sky cannot "sort it" as it's not their network.

How is your glass connected to your router, have you tried ethernet cable?

Re: Sky glass and virgin still have issues?

Sky has already stated that they are having issues with sky glass connecting to virgin Wi-Fi. This started last week and is ongoing

Re: Sky glass and virgin still have issues?

Sort of defeats the idea of sky glass, no cables lol. My router is within 6ft of tv which is now mounted on the wall. Never had an issue before last week
