Sky glass UHD recording issue

Hi,

Recently, we have noticed that when recording Chicago Med/Fire, the UHD versions have cut out part of the show, reducing it to around 40 mins rather than the normal 50 mins. The regular HD versions seem to have the normal running time. This week we can't even access the HD version, it just goes to the UHD version when we try to change the version. Any idea how we can fix this?

The UHD versions shouldn't be cut. All episodes of Chicago Fire & Med are 40 minutes long with the ads removed. Perhaps the HD versions running time includes the ads?

Oh and BTW, Sky Glass isn't recording them, it's just playing back an on demand stream of each episode.

Re: Sky glass UHD recording issue

That's quite correct. There are no ads on the UHD version, there are on the HD version, hence the difference in running times.

The Chicago shows seem to have suffered some issues this year !

issues with missing episodes (or formats) can be reported to viewerR@sky.uk

they normally respond quite quickly
