Hello .
HDR on this Tv is rubbish ,so washed out
found it better to watch in HD
Tried watching F1 UHD
but had to add it so we could watch in HD ,much brighter picture ,not washed out
Does anybody know how i can switch HDR off like i could on my samsung tv
also is there an update that can be done to make the quality better ?
as paying for UHD /HDR ,but not good

The 'Vivid' picture setting allegedly gives the best picture quality but the reality is that Glass isn't the brightest of TV's. If you want better HDR performance then you're better off with a TV capable of higher peak brightness.

Yes i agree
overall the sky glass tv is ok
but i get better picture quality with my samsung tv
i thought getting the glass tv would be good
as they were making it better ,and doing upgrades for it
now i dont know what to do

You would need to submit a formal complaint and make the case that you believe you were mis-sold it and that it is not doing what it was sold as being capable of.

You would need to submit a formal complaint and make the case that you believe you were mis-sold it and that it is not doing what it was sold as being capable of.
Specifically you'd be arguing under general consumer protection law that goods/services are not fit for purpose / as described / of satisfactory quality
Note that the law specifies that you must give the retailer one opportunity to 'repair or replace' before you can claim a refund.

Hello .
Got sky glass Tv sorted ( well kind of )
we are now back on sky Q ,and the glass subscription is now cancelled
chatted with an excellent guy at sky who sorted everything out for us
even when i hit him with a curve ball
my daughter who lives with us used the live camera for fitness
so now , sky have said she can have the glass tv and pay the subscription if she wants
which she has said yes too .
and my daughter will now have the glass tv in her media room so she can do her fitness
But
the guy at sky ( and i quote )
"She can go online to sky.com and order a subscription and does not add any equipment
to the order as she already has it "
Where ! ......we cant see anywhere you can do that ,without buying the TV
can someone point us in the right direction again please
thanks

If your daughter tries to add a streaming subscription to the Glass TV then it will immediately cancel the Q subscription at the same address.
I think what you've been told by the Sky adviser is wrong. You cannot have a Q subscription and a Glass or Stream subscription running together at the same address.

Adding what's effectively a second-hand set can't be done online.

As @SlenderRobert indicates, that would require her to have an Ultimate Television subscription on Glass (for Sky Live to function) which would rule out you having Sky Q at the same address.

I did not think you could have two subscriptions at the same address
but did not know if it had all changed nowadays
so thats why i did not say anything
so what do i do now ??

If it's less than 31 days since you activated Glass then personally I'd return it and the Sky Live camera for a full refund. It's a heck of a lot of money you've paid for something that you're not happy with, and which has limited functionality without a Sky subscription.

It is over the 31 days since i got the glass tv
another thing this guy said ( and i quote )
i asked what the CCA was
"The CCa payments would remain on your account as we have no way to move these over to the new account is that ok "
Also
" sorry ,CCA is the consumer credit agreementfor the sky glass tv and sky live camera .in order to move these to your daughters account you would have to return the equipment you have there at the moment and then the CCa,s would be cancelled ,and your daughter would have to order her own ones for her account and go through the credit check process "
i asked if they stay on my account ,and she pays me every month for that .
and he said YES
