Forgive me for not knowing beforehand that I wouldn't be able to turn down the bass? Like on almost every other tv I've ever owned.

I'm not sure you are going to be able to ..... you could try using a different picture preset as this slightly alters the sound dynamic
you could also try using the custom preset which will allow you to alter the sound settings a little

Re: Sky glass 2 bass too loud
Sky Glass Gen 2 has twin subwoofers specifically to generate those low frequencies: it's probably not an ideal choice of hardware if you don't like them.

Re: Sky glass 2 bass too loud
For whatever reason, Sky hasn't seen fit to provide a user-accessibile EQ. The speaker array is a major selling point and the reason the Glass television looks the way it does, but Sky has always been remarkably reluctant to let users customise things.
Remember that if you have had the set for less than a month you can notify Sky that you wish to reject it.

Re: Sky glass 2 bass too loud
Sky hardware is designed for the mass market, for those that don't want to faff about with settings and just want to watch telly. Which is great if you're happy to let Sky have all the control over such things.
If you want customisation then a 'normal' smart TV with (or without) a Stream puck attached, and a separate audio system will give you much more versatility.
