Channels won’t change on Sky Glass

Our Sky Glass gen 1 will not change channel. We can turn off the power and back on and then change channel but then it sticks again. Message on screen says There is a technical error. Please try again later. WiFi signal is good and apps all work. It's just normal TV

Hi @barry+weelands 

 

There seems to be a couple of posts on the community tonight. However unless you all tell us about your set up i.e. generation of glass, who your ISP etc etc it's impossible for anyone to say if there is an issue affecting a specific profile! Remember we are fellow customers and know nothing about your set up.

And now sorted itself  - which is fine until the next tile. Thanks to all who replied. Worth knowing that you can still watch Netflix iplayer apple etc

All sorted switched off at power socket left for about a minute. Turned back on all powered up ok

Is there bad weather  were you are ? Because  I  am in dover  and on gigafast broadband 900mps full fibre to the property  and i  am having  no such problems tonight both my 55inch sky glass gen 1 and my 55inch sky glass gen 2 and my puck  are all working  fine no freezing  all channels  are working  and all apps, i  am watching  sports  downstairs my wife  is watching  a film upstairs  and my son is watching  something on the puck,

Continuing Technical error message

Turning the tv on and off works for a single stream of an episode and then won't move to next episode or to any other channel including live tv .... 

turning to standby and back on doesn't make any difference it has to have power removed and then only works for one movie or episode.....

Have moved/combined some posts of this technical fault on Sky Glass  and Sky Stream that occurred last night.


Did see a small blip for a few minutes last night on my Sky Stream around 9:30pm

A quick Puck settings restart sorted the issue for me.

 

Assuming it was just a small blip last night that affected some customers and all of you in this thread are now all running fine this mornin

 

If any of you are still seeing the issue this morning, please start a new post with your issue, as it may not be related to last night problem.

Thank you. I reset several times and in the end I left it but it seems to be working now. @lettice looks like it was an outage.

This is happening again tonight aftef watching something on my playlist i come out of it but continues playing in the background. Another restart required same as last night. Anyone else ?
