Hello,
I had purchased a Sky glass TV last year. The TV freezes randomly with machine gun sounds and a pixilated screen. The only way to make it go is to turn off and turn on the TV.
We have checked the internet and that's not an issue. Could you please help? Please see the screenshot below.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@AdityaGhan I suspect you may need to phone Sky and report it as it sounds like the TV may have developed a fault.
You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.
If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number. If you are in the ROI on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.

Find out more@AdityaGhan I know exactly the sound you are referring to as I had it once about a year ago along with a distorted picture (It sounded as though the TV was about to blow up). I unplugged the Glass TV and left it for about 30 minutes and then plugged it in again. It resolved the issue and luckily it never returned.
Give it a try and if it doesn't resolve it OR if it happens again do as suggested by @MarkGoldsmith and give Sky a call. I would also record it on your phone so you have something to show Sky if you need to explain the situation.
Good luck.

We have just started to get the same thing but we only have Sky Q. The last three nights, in the middle of the 10 oclock BBC news, we lose the Sky picture and get the sound of a helicopter and gunfire. Even when we get the Sky picture back, we still have the same sound until we turn everything off and on.
Did you manage to get it resolved?

My Glass tv does the same thing. Have you had a response from Sky about it?
It's been a random software issue on Sky Glass since it launched over three years ago.
Turn the TV off at the wall and unplug it. Leave it for half an hour then plug it back in, power it on and let it restart. This usually cures many software issues, but if it doesn't then you'll need to give Sky a ring and speak to them for further troubleshooting.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Peeseagee See post 4 above. I posted this in January so it is an old solution but it worked for me. Give it a try and if 30 minutes doesn't work then try leaving it unplugged overnight.
