Sky Stream to Sky glass

I currently have Sky Stream with the Sky TV ultimate package. (As well as broadband)

im looking at the Sky glass Gen 2 that states the Sky TV Entertainment package, I'm believe this just has less channels and other shows but STILL has Netflix (which is fine as we don't watch the sky channels at all). If I were to sign up to the Sky Glass Gen 2 package would this cancel my existing Sky Stream & TV ultimate package? Or would this become a seperate subscription and charge me for both?

my current package is still in contract until Feb 2027 so if I try to just cancel it outright then I'll be charged a bucket load in early termination fees

@RobbieCrabb  The price you see will be for New Customers, you are not a new customer.  Therefore if you add Glass your subs will be at the rates you already pay, unless you've completed a minimum term.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Sky have allowed Sky Q customers on 24 month contracts who are having financial difficulties to downgrade to Sky Q Essentials.  They may be willing to do the same for a streaming subscription, moving from Ultimate TV to Essential TV, but you'd need to discuss it with them.

Bear in mind that moving from Stream to Glass will then add the cost of purchasing the actual Glass TV onto your monthly outgoings. You can purchase it outright or pay over 2 or 4 years, interest free, subject to credit check. The TV only has a 2 year warranty so also bear that in mind if you choose the 4 year payment option. You will be liable for any repair or replacement costs after 2 years so it may be worthwhile paying extra for Sky Protect insurance, or stick with your current Stream puck and TV.

Re: Sky Stream to Sky glass

If you don't watch Sky channels why are you looking at Sky Glass you are really restricting your future options. Glass is great if you sign up for Sky packages but if not look at alternatives.
