Sky Remote

I have only had sky and my sky remote a couple of months and it has stopped working. Therefore I can't switch on Sky or watch it. I have tried all the online reset tips and tried new batteries but it just appears to be dead. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Grip it quite tightly and give it a firm but gentle twist as if you were wringing out a cloth. This sometimes helps engage the contacts on the PCB and gets it working again - it did for one of mine anyway.

In any case, ring Sky and ask for a better quality one, there's a very large batch of poorly manufactured remotes still floating around that are still having to be replaced.

If you have an old Sky Q remote knocking around you can use it until you get a replacement from Sky.
