How is your  tv  connected  to  the  Internet ? And what is your  broadband  speed, if it is freezing  wifi is not as stable  as an ethernet cable connection and to watch  in hd the tv needs a minimum  of 25mps  and to watch  in uhd the tv needs a minimum  of 35mps  not sure  what  the  noise is, i  have two sky glass tv's ever since they first  came out and I  have  never  had  any  problems, but i  am on gigafast broadband 900mps and have  both tvs  and my puck connected  with  ethernet cables more stable  than  WiFi

Firstly, freezing is often a poorly performing internet connection.

How do you have your Sky Glass  TV connected, via wifi or Ethernet cable?

Can you do a network speed test on your Sky Glass TV.
Launch Netflix on your pucks (you do not need to be logged into it, if you do not use netflix) and scroll down the left menu to Get help.
Choose Check Network.
Would suggest running the test a few times, say over a half hour period between tests.
What is your speed?

Can you explain more on what kind of noise it is you are hearing?

Re: Sky Glass

Thanks for all your help, it's much appreciated. The speed is 67. It's been connected via WiFi, so I'll try the Ethernet cable and see what happens. Thanks again👍👍

That speed should be ok for Sky Glass/Stream as long as at busy times on your local network it does not drop much lower than that.

Sky recommended minimum broadband speed is 25Mbps. Or 30Mbps if you add an extra Sky Stream puck or to watch in UHD.

Using the Sky Sports live sync option can also add a few Mbps per Sky Gkass/Stream device.

If you do switch to ethernet, change both your pucks to following recommended settings set in Settings>
Turn wifi OFF under Network if connected via ethernet.
Set Network standby mode to ON and Overnight power saving to OFF.

After you have made the above changes do a restart of your Sky Glass TV or Sky Stream box, this ensures that the settings options are properly set.

Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Glass TV or Sky Stream puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete
