Sky Glass had a software update last week which has caused Sky Glass to stop working. No red button appears when switched on which means I have to do a "recovery" each time I switch on the Sky Glass. Is anyone else experiencing this?
Sky say I have to try their troubleshooting, including sending me a new power and ethernet cable, but the power isn't the problem, if it was, the Sky Glass wouldn't switch on when the recovery set up is activated!
Without more people ringing Sky with the problem their tech team won't update the software to sort them problem!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@CT50 You're making an assumption more people have this issue, i've not noticed this within the forum, you'll need to just follow the steps before Sky consider replacing a set.

Have you followed Sky's trouble shooting and informed them of your results?

@roger1949 we have had exactly the same problem! Got in touch with sky who sent out a new power cable but this has't sorted the problem (which we knew it wouldn't) been back in touch, but they just keep saying the tv is out of warranty so our responsibility which isn't good enough. Had a feeling it was a problem with an update as woke one morning and it was like we had a different tv. Having to hard reboot after any lengthy amount of time the tv is off - very frustrated! Noticed on Facebook others are having the same problem
