Sky Glass throwing off TP Link extender
I have a PC that can't connect to the WiFi on its own. The solution I found only yesterday was to plug a TP link extender into the wall beside my PC and connect them via an ethernet cable.
As the WiFi box is so far away and can't be easily moved, this was a great solution for me.
The problem is that whenever anyone tries to stream on our Sky Glass, it doesn't like receiving both signals from the box and the extender (which is upstairs directly above it) so it disconnects. I'm assuming to act as a fail-safe, it turns off the WiFi completely so the box doesn't receive any and so nothing in the house does.
The only obvious solution at the moment is to turn off the TP extender but this means my PC is really awkward to use. There are also other advantages to the linker like the WiFi becomes much better on the deadzone side of the house. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If im understanding correctly a better option for your pc would be to use a set of inexpensive powerline adapters (non wifi) to connect your pc thus not having a double wifi signal with the same ssid.
alternatively a decent mesh system will eliminate the dead spots in your house .
