Sky Glass Price Reductions

Sky have reduced the price of all three sky glass tvs. I suspect that they’re struggling  to sell them or they are bringing out a new model soon.

Probably looking to move on refurbished returns alongside poor overall sales figures as previously published.

They could drop the price by 50% but they still need to get the software stable.

@Anonymous They’re legally not allowed to sell refurbished products without informing the purchaser. So I hope this isn’t the case

Sky aren’t even permitted to sell tv’s as new even if the box hasn’t been opened and returned. Hence companies like Amazon have warehouse sections. 

The basic rule here is that once a product is returned, it cannot be sold as new, even if the product was never used. So, any of these items may be lawfully sold as "refurbished" for a fraction of the cost of a new item.

I can get a refurbished Apple TV 4K from apple saving £30.00 wow hopefully it will come with a 2 year warranty I don't think so.

No not really @Jason+Golding just pointing out that refurbished items don't necessarily sell at a fraction of a cost than a new item

 

So I'd buy the Appletv 4K 128GB box it's not rocket science.
