I'm wondering if this is a 'hide my ip address' feature setting problem on people's devices.

Can you all try the following to activate. It may be another solution.
Try either or both of the following;
Open up the MySky app if you have it installed on an Android phone or Apple phone/iPad
when in the MySky app on main page,
scroll down and click on Product Settings
click on Device Management
scroll down that page until you see activate a new device
clickmon that and try entering your activation code you see on your Sky Stream puck or SKy Glass TV there.
If you do not have the app, login to Mysky in a browser here
Click on the three bar menu icon top left and choose My Sky
scroll down and click on Product Settings
click on Streaming TV
scroll down that page until you see activate a new device
click on that and try entering your activation code you see on your Sky Stream puck or SKy Glass TV there.

I have told a few posters to turn off their router for 10 minutes to try and grab a different external ip address ..... we don't know if the activation site is geo locked to uk ip addresses and some of the newer ones haven't been registered. Trouble is no one seems to post back if it's worked or not

Thanks for the suggestion - I have done as suggested via the app. When I click on Device management it says 'Oops....etc as always. I've also tried using sky.com on my phone and on my laptop - always the same result.

Not sure what you have tried so far.
This is the resolution that works, that you have to do.
It has worked for many Sky Stream and Sky Glass TV customers over the last three days with the issue.
Follow the procedure exactly as described in post 2 of this thread, flagged as the Answer post from Sky.
Try holding down the button for as long as possible, it won't harm keeping it pressed longer than mentioned, but release when you see the blue screen instructions on screen.

If you have any issue with activation during the process or entering the pin do the following;
Activation problems:
Try refreshing your browser cache or try the activate link in another browser or device.
Before clicking on the activate link, log in to your MySky account first.
Also, try this alternative link;
Make sure you have logged into your Mysky account in your browser before trying.
https://www.sky.com/productsettings/streaming-tv/activate
Also, you could try using a mobile phone, not connected to your home broadband.
Pin problems:
When at the pin stage and it fails.
Remove the power from your Puck or Sky Glass TV, leave off for a few minutes and repower.
It will continue, follow the instructions.
This has worked for many having a pin issue

There was an issue with Glass and Stream. As per Sky's info you need to try the recovery process to restore: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-glass-stream-wont-turn-on

Ok thanks for letting us now.
I think annoyingly the app just opens the same webpage.
But thought it was worth a try.

Thanks - I have followed both options hit unfortunately I cannot get to the point of being able to choose "activate a new device" because you get the error page once you choose "device management".
In case it is relevant (but it maybe a coincidence) I live in Dublin and have 4 friends with Sky Glass in Dublin, Kildare and Limerick we are all having the same problem.

Apple devices that have an iCloud+ subscription has a feature called Private Relay. This, if enabled hides ip addresses and has been known to create issues on certain websites. Via Browsers or Apps. I'm wondering if this is what's happening. Be good to know if this is just affecting Apple device users.

Doesn't work for my puck.
Ethernet or WiFi it flashes and then sky appears on TV the. no signal found message.
The remote now turns my TV off for some reason. Never used to do that before
