So I added a programme from Sky Showcase to my playlist earlier, thinking I'd be able to watch it later on. However, it says I don't have Sky movies. IT WAS ON SHOWCASE!
I didn't have a clue this was the situation when I got Sky glass. It's basically a step back from Sky + then?
Absolutely shambolic from Sky this. Unless someone can tell me a way around it?
Added Home Alone to my playlist too from a normal "free view" channel and I can't watch that cos I don't have Disney.
Come on man are they for real?

Sly Stream and Glass doesn't record. Some programs are recorded to the cloud and others point back to on demand. Streaming rights is a minefield and this can lead to something being broadcast on a channel but the on demand rights being owned by someone else.
In this case it seems that sky wish to use this as a way to upsell cinema.
Sometimes when you go into play back an item, there may be a button with "Play on x" underneath the item, but only usually on older content where there are multiple rights holders.

Content creators have regained control of their creations in the era of streaming ... which they had lost during the era of VCRs and DVRs🤔
Sky Showcase is a showcase for other Sky channels and it is those channels that on-demand streaming rights are assigned to😉
