Another faulty tv sent

This is the 3rd tv from sky and it's a nightmare the tv keeps freezing and won't do anything. So I go to the on and off button at the side and that doesn't work .

How do I know if they are sending new tv or reconditioned.

@Sonia14  If it keep freezing it can be a result of poor wifi/broadband

On the TV open Netflix, got to get Help, run connection test, what speed is being reported.

You need a minimum speed of 25mbps for HD & 35mbps for UHD, anything less and the TV will perform like it currently is, very poorly.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

I agree with @GD1 . Three TVs with the same issue points to a problem at ypur end, rather than with the TVs, most likely broadband related.

@Sonia14  And this is on the netflix app on your TV?   What else is being used ?   What is your broadband speed?

@Sonia14   I would try ethernet from the TV to the hub and turn the wifi off on th TV to see if this helps.

67mbps should be adequate but depends on how much usage is going on and how many people are usigng your connection

Re: Another faulty tv sent

The first replacement as long as it is within a few months or even first month would be new ... subsequent replacements are likely reconditioned🤔

Re: Another faulty tv sent

Why do they send reconditioned tv out when your paying all that money

Sky Glass is a mass-produced TV. There are more of them around due to there only being a single model available (in different sizes).
The churn rate on them is quite high due to the increased numbers, so it's economically and environmentally better for Sky to send out reconditioned sets.
With the arrival of Sky Glass version 2 next year (launching in February) the original model will likely stop production at some point fairly soon and the option to upgrade to the newer model will become available. This will likely come at additional cost.
