Sky Glass Gen 2 - Brightness
Hi All
I read that the new Gen 2 Sky glass Tv is much brighter that the 1st gen
Is the 43 inch Sky Glass Gen 2 Tv Bright enough to use outdoors though (Garden/ Patio)?
It would seem like an ideal solution for watching Tv outdoors in good weather
I have a friend who has a Samsung ng QE43QN90C which is awesome outdoors (even in sunlight)
Has anyone tried the 43 inch Sky Glass outdoors?
Or am I better getting a high end Samsung Tv and adding a Sky Stream Puck?
ANy thoughts / Experiences?>

Re: Sky Glass Gen 2 - Brightness
'much brighter' than the Glass Gen 1 (which frankly wouldn't be difficult) is still nowhere near what a mini-LED can manage.
Tech Radar measured the Glass Gen 2 at just over 1000 nits and a Samsung QN90 in excess of 1700. On release the Glass Gen 2 was a fairly miserable 400-odd: this subsequently improved a bit with firmware updates.

@Dunzzy It's a weighty bit of kit to be moving outside!

Re: Sky Glass Gen 2 - Brightness
Was going to put it on a Trolley stand and wheel it around and throw a weather proof cover over it when not being used.
However It looks like I will be better with a Samsung QN90D or similar though as I think brightness is the primary consideration.
